How to complete seller verification
Verification is what turns an account into a store buyers will pay. It takes one to three business days once the documents are complete.
Document checklist
For the company
- Business registration certificate, or the equivalent licence in your jurisdiction.
- Tax registration certificate or taxpayer number.
- Articles of association, if your jurisdiction requires them for entity checks.
For the legal representative
- Identity document — passport, national ID or residence permit.
- A selfie holding that document, in good light, face and document both visible.
For the address
- A utility bill or bank statement showing the registered address, dated within three months.
For the goods (category dependent)
- Product certificates — CE, FCC, FDA, RoHS, ISO.
- Test reports from an accredited laboratory.
- Brand authorisation letter, if you resell branded products.
Photographing documents
Most rejections are photographic rather than substantive.
- Shoot straight on, not at an angle.
- All four corners inside the frame.
- Even daylight, no flash glare on laminated surfaces.
- Full colour, not a photocopy of a photocopy.
- One document per file, PDF or JPG.
- File names do not matter; do not redact anything except genuinely sensitive numbers the form does not request.
Submit
- Open *Profile → Verification → Company verified*.
- Upload each document to its labelled slot.
- Type the company name and address exactly as printed.
- Submit and wait. You receive a notification either way, and the status shows in the same panel.
If rejected
The notice names the field. The three common causes:
- Name mismatch — a trading name differs from the registered entity. Upload a document connecting the two, such as a tax certificate showing both.
- Expired document — the notice gives the expiry date we read.
- Illegible upload — re-shoot in daylight.
You can resubmit immediately. There is no cooling-off period, and repeated genuine attempts do not affect your standing.
